Ken Whittle

Ken Whittle is a Director of Insureness and responsible for the set up of the state-of-the-art IT and telecoms system for the business. After graduating in Applied Physics with Solid State Electronics in 1981, Ken began his career as an oil services engineer in remote areas of Africa before returning to the UK and a spell at Motorola in semiconductor marketing. He commenced his insurance broking career in 1984, becoming an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in 1990 and a Chartered Insurance Broker in 2005. Ken was a Partner at Whittle & Company until 1995 when his firm merged with the insurance broking business of Ken Davie. The combined business continued to flourish and became part of the JW Group in 2002, which was subsequently acquired by Towergate in 2007. Ken’s strengths are in IT and insurance broking start-up operations. In addition, he is excellent at cultivating and maintaining client relationships
